Just about to head off on the Monade US tour but wanted to let you know that we will be selling a 2 track 3" tour CD on the dates. The tracks are 'Sensible et Extensible' and 'At Last I Am Free', we'll also have shirts and Monade LPs.

There will be a new Stereolab LP but not before the band have recorded a 7" and EP for release late Summer / early Autumn. LP recording will probably start at the end of this year and as yet we haven't decided upon who will help out at the controls - possibly no-one?
Update (2 May): Stereolab have almost completed the recording of their new 7" and EP and we have a tentative release date of September 12th 2005.
That's all for now.

The February 2005 issue of Record Collector magazine includes a feature on the most collectable records released since 1988. Martin Pike is interviewed about the back story to what is now the groop's rarest disc, the first pressing of the Stunning Debut Album 7-inch on "multicoloured" vinyl. (Copies now worth £200 apparently)
