Check out the poster from the 2004-09-26 show.

Thanks to resident editor Jeff W. for adding the Moog documentary soundtrack album to the discography section.
Also added two setlists, one from 1995 Leeds, and one from the most recent 2004 gig.
Added three more concert posters to the gallery.

I've added the alternate titles the groop uses when they write their set lists. Currently, you can see the alternate titles on all transcribed set lists, on the songs listing page, and on a specific song's lyrics page. The only spot where I haven't currently listed them is in the discography section, which I may at some point add.

Someone decided to write a script that constantly downloaded two mp3 files from the bootlegs section. This effectively sapped my entire month's bandwidth (80+ gigs per month) in under 5 days.
I am now being charged for every meg over my bandwidth. Wheeee.
I've no idea why someone would want to download Cybele's Reverie from a 2004 bootleg over 6000 times, but whoever you are, gee, aren't you the greatest.
Thanks a lot. Say goodbye to the bootlegs.

Check 'em out in the gallery. Also added setlist from back in '97. Thanks to Mr. Bloom for the setlist.
Posted on 2004-09-01 by koly
Check out the gallery for new concert photos from St. Petersberg, and some older concert posters from 2000, 2002, and 2004.
On a related note, I'm still working on a bootlegs solution. stay tuned.
Posted on 2004-08-21 by koly
Since my bandwidth has been sucked dry, the bootlegs will be down indefinitely until I can come up with a better solution.
Posted on 2004-08-06 by koly
Added two new scanned setlists, one from Rio in 2000-08-18, and one from NY Irving Plaza 1999-12-16. Also made some other corrections sent in by Marc Savoie.
Posted on 2004-08-04 by koly
check the interviews section for the transcribed interview
(pages 1 & 3 were not available at the time of transcription) and the gallery for scans of the actual magazine (again, pages 1 & 3 are missing, but should be added in the future). Pages 1 & 3 are now online both in the gallery and the transcribed interview.

Bootlegs are back up. Also added a new concert. I know the current display of the bootlegs isn't the greatest - but as I add more shows I'll be cleaning up the pages to be a bit neater and inter-link throughout the site far better than they do now.
Coming soon - some stereolab concert videos! Due to their large size, I'll probably post a song or two a week, but we'll see how the demand stacks up.
Posted on 2004-06-30 by koly
Added both a scanned setlist and the transcribed setlist for 2004-04-21.
Posted on 2004-06-25 by koly
Since 57 gigs of my 60 gig transfer allotment has been used up by 06/22, and it doesn't reset until July 1st, I've taken the bootlegs offline until the first of the month.
Most of the traffic was the rabid downloading that occured during the first couple weeks the bootlegs were available, and it slowed to a steady stream of 2 to 4 gigs a day thereafter. I hope that the monthly allotment will be sufficient once the initial onslaught is over, especially after I end up adding more bootlegs.
Posted on 2004-06-23 by koly
Now sold out tourdates and cancelled performances will have a slightly different appearance so visitors will know at a glance if a gig has been sold out our cancelled.
Posted on 2004-06-15 by koly
I've finally got the forum functioning again. Thank goodness. Posting may now continue. Hope it wasn't missed to much.
Posted on 2004-06-09 by koly
While it's not live on the uhf site yet, it will be by the end of the week. I've now added a row in the database to include the "gig" name of a song as transcribed from a setlist and which actual song title it actually belongs to.
Hopefully this will bring to an end the confusion of such set list titles as "HB," "Chrome Tubby," and "Sub Pop" (one that always got me, BTW).
Look for the 'setlist' decoder names to show up later this week.
Posted on 2004-06-09 by koly
It's not the prettiest site, but it was the quick and dirty way to get the existing bootleg shows linked up and ready for downloading.
There are several mistakes/inconsistencies with the 8 or 9 shows that are currently posted when compared to their matching set lists. There are also about 4 or 5 unknown shows that I didn't have time to dig through the boxes of junk to find the original discs to decode which respective show they belonged to, so any help in naming/dating those performances is greatly appreciated.
For now, enjoy the tunes.

Something broke during the switchover, and both the forum search and posting sections are down for the short term. Hopefully I'll be able to troubleshoot them over the weekend and get everything up and running again.
Posted on 2004-05-25 by koly
The domain is now pointing to the correct host, and I've been uploading files and fixing broken links all week. The new server is up and ready to go!
Posted on 2004-05-24 by koly
With the new server up and running, I now have lots of space to host bootlegged concerts.
Posted on 2004-05-24 by koly
I'm seriously considering switching the current host for the site, as the current host (webaxxs.com), while quite reliable throughout koly.com's history there, has never seen fit to throw more server space my way even after repeated requests.
Posted on 2004-05-06 by koly
I've added a link to amazon.com in the discography where ever they have a specific album for sale.
Posted on 2004-05-04 by koly
More concert posters and concert photos have been added to the gallery.
Also updated is the old "vote for your favorite album" feature. It now works with the database to match votes to discs. I'll be implementing additional bells & whistles from this new voting feature throughout the site in the coming weeks.

Thanks to resident groop guru JW for finding seven, yes, SEVEN more new concert posters from the current tour. Some good ones, to be sure.
Check them out in the gallery.
Posted on 2004-04-27 by koly
They've been added to the gallery. Also, looks like JW posted some additional interviews w/the groop, and some corrections were made to a couple older gallery dates.
Posted on 2004-04-02 by koly
Added a new featurette to the tour dates section - the row you're mouse is over highlights to hopefully improve readability across one specific date.
Let me know if you like it.
Posted on 2004-03-31 by koly
Thanks to Theirry - added three new scanned setlists to the gallery.
Also added a couple other transcribed setlists, another set of concert photos, and a couple other minor items.
The resident Discography-Archivist (JW) also added yet another remix to the discography.
Posted on 2004-03-24 by koly
three new sets of concert photos have been added, including two from the latest tour.
Thanks to the photographers.
Also added several new set lists from the current tour.
Posted on 2004-03-20 by koly
Thanks to Thierry for providing the setlist fresh from the paris gig.
Some corrections thanks to S?bastien and others, adding Bop Scotch and The Brush Descends the Length into the set.
Posted on 2004-03-18 by koly
Thanks to Vince for sending in loads of corrections to the back catalog of tour dates fixing little things like locales, accompanyment, and adding a review from the strasbourg performance.
Also added the new Japan tour dates.
Posted on 2004-03-17 by koly
More tour information (such as the opening acts for more of the North American dates) has been added.
so to has a new featurette to the "reviews" section of the site - now album and concert reviews are labelled as such and album reviews offer a thumbnail of and link to their respective album.
Posted on 2004-03-12 by koly
All existing concert posters have now been added to the gallery and properly linked throughout the rest of the site (mainly, tour dates).
The new gallery is now basically complete save for a few miscellaneous items that will be added as I come across them.
say goodbye to the old gallery, as it's reached the end of its days.
Posted on 2004-03-04 by koly
Further details on the new tour single added, including most of the lyrics to the three songs - corrections and suggestions for the missing text to the usual address. Hope to add the cover image in the next day or so.
Also, the discography is now complete. Some further work will be done on individual pages, but all the discs are now there. Unless of course, you know better...

At long last, the setlist section of the site has been completely revamped. You'll see its influence in other sections of the site as well.
New features include showing setlists by year and, hopefully, you can sort the columns by year, city, country, and venue in the near future (this feature is also pending for the tourdates section).
Posted on 2004-02-26 by koly
Just added to the interviews section, a telling interview with the now seperated Tim and Laetitia from independent.co.uk. They discuss Mary and the new album.
read it here.
Posted on 2004-02-23 by koly
I finally added a scan to the gallery of a completely unrelated item, but you'll understand when you see it. It also was the cause for the creation of the "miscellaneous" category in the gallery.
Posted on 2004-02-17 by koly
the entire setlist section is undergoing a massive rebuild. The new database is complete, and now it's just a matter of populating it with all the old data, which, unfortunately, will have to be done manually.
I've currently sifted my way from 1991-1993, leaving on 10 more years of setlists to re-key. Carpel Tunnel here I come.
once finished, however, more new cool features will appear (like: this song has been played X times live!)
Posted on 2004-02-16 by koly
I added three more concert date photos. Originally, I didn't know which dates they were from. Then, I was planning on rebuilding the gallery, but never got around to it. Now that I've got the new gallery up and running, I was able to figure out the dates of those shows and add them to their corresponding tour date.
just about all I have left to add are the concert posters, which will take a while.
Posted on 2004-02-14 by koly
A new photo gallery is in the works. It's already been implemented for all the concert photos, and is currently working and linked from any concert photo's respective tour dates. The new gallery allows for visitor comments, more detail regarding the photos (if you're one of the people who took the photos, email me and I'll set up an account for you to add your comments to your own photos!), and made it far far easier for new photos and posters and such to be added to the site.
Posted on 2004-02-13 by koly
Along with tweaking the reviews section of the site, the discography has seen some further improvements. Each disc now links to any of their respective reviews.
Posted on 2004-02-12 by koly
I've now added pictures of the album being reviewed to the reviews section. I've got to go back through all the reviews to properly add the images, but new reviews will feature the album art automatically, and the disc and disc title will link to that specific disc in the discography. The layout isn't complete yet, but the functionality is there.
Posted on 2004-02-12 by koly
More tour dates, new albums added to the discography guest appearances section, Margerine Eclipse lyrics are virtually complete (including translations), and more! I should be adding new videos soon, so stay tuned.
(oh yeah, I've added lots of reviews of the latest album, too.

Resident site lyric transcriber and translator David has been busy - corrections and translations for Microbe Hunter and Sound-Dust songs. Enjoy!
Posted on 2004-01-29 by koly
Added the first U.S. show of the tour (Costa Mesa, CA @ the Detroit Bar, in case you were wondering), along with a couple others.
Posted on 2004-01-28 by koly
North American dates added. The groop will be following a strange path across the U.S., starting on the west coast and immediately leaping to the center of the country. More dates to follow. go to tour dates.
Posted on 2004-01-21 by koly
Opening acts for the upcoming March tourdates have been added (To Rocco Rot and Fourtet are lined up).
U.S. dates are pending.
