i read a really swell interview from this site on the dificulty of synching the two channels. they had to use a pro tools plug-in if i recall. that interview had a swell list of their average live gear, and instant 0 studio gear. insightful for the musician. i had no idea they used an opus3. should have been obvious..

: While they're not 100% seperate (there is some channel mixing), they are really distinct. After having a familiarity with the songs in stereo, I found myself singing/humming the appropriate missing channel. Which, I guess, shows how well the whole thing goes together. I can't imagine it was easy to make an album that way.
