: i'm sure you've all read about this intended mono novelty, i was wondering what you all thought about the actual experience of hearing each side individualy, rather then combined.

While they're not 100% seperate (there is some channel mixing), they are really distinct. After having a familiarity with the songs in stereo, I found myself singing/humming the appropriate missing channel. Which, I guess, shows how well the whole thing goes together. I can't imagine it was easy to make an album that way.
