sandwiches.

"As long as you nourish your ideas by listening to other artists, reading books and doing this, that and the other, it stays fresh. It's like a sandwich." - Laetitia Sadier

i'd find it hard to imagine that during all the years that this forum has been in existence, the subject hasn't been broached at least once (or twice). but since i don't have the patience to go mulling through thousands of threads to find out, maybe someone who has a better memory than me can help!

it's practically gospel at this point, the knowledge of her marxist/situationsit leanings (which i'm sure by now have evolved into something altogether different and unclassifiable at this stage in her life). but still i wonder what laetitia sadier's 10 most influential books ever read would be...?

i was web surfing to see if there might perhaps be a lead somewhere and found a site from several years back that listed her top 10 favourite albums at the time... that was a lot of fun... though it just made me that much more curious as to what her answer might be now...

anyway, no doubt it's the poetry and informed ideas w/in the lyrics that make stereolab the most profound and important band in our post-post-post-post-etc.-modern world...

thoughts anyone?
